Malaysian Red Crescent Society Selangor Chapter 

      Established as a Branch of the British Red Cross in 1948. Recognised by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on July 4, 1963.

Accepted as an affiliate member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) on August 24, 1963.
 

      Incorporated under an Act of Parliament: Malaysian Red Cross Society (Incorporation) Act, 1965. (previously known as Act 47/65 and revised in 1995 as Act 540) and the Malaysian Red Cross Society (Change of Name) Act, 1975 (Act 540). Since 1975, The Society is known as the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, more widely known as the MALAYSIAN RED CRESCENT.
 

      Functions as a support organisation, auxiliary to the Malaysian Government in the humanitarian field.

We are an Auxiliary Body that support Humanitarian Mission around the world

Ambulance Services

The Malaysian Red Crescent provides ambulance services to the Malaysian Emergency Response Service 999 (MERS999) to serve the community and also provides event medical standby duties.

Youth Engagement

The Malaysian Red Crescent strongly believes in the power of youth because they will shape the world of tomorrow. Therefore, we place our youths at the centre of our focus in whatever we do.

Disaster Management

As auxiliary to the humanitarian services of the Malaysian Government, the Malaysian Red Crescent carries out its humanitarian services to care for those affected by disasters.

First Aid Training

The Malaysian Red Crescent strives to educate and disseminate First Aid knowledge to all members of the community through its First Aider in Every Home (FAEIH) programme.
